Last Saturday we had a very successful quiz night fundraiser for the Projector Fund. 11 teams battled it out, some concentrating on the quiz, some having more fun building towers of Coke Cans, no matter a good time was had by all.
At half time Emma’s (family) team brought out a splendid ploughman’s supper, and at the end while the scores were being totalled the rapid raffle was raced through.
In the end the evening raised over £500 to bring the projector fund to within £39 of the required total, so with luck, and maybe another raffle, we’ll soon be able to clear that deficit and move on to fundraising for a new projection screen.

PS after this post a member very generously donated the final £40 meaning that the Projector fund is now closed, and we are concentrating on the new projection screen. Thank you Tony!
