“At the beginning of lockdown I ordered a butterfly kit off the internet, the type that schools use. Five very small caterpillars arrived in a pot containing all the food they need etc…. Once they have turned into chrysalides you put then into a netted cage and they emerge a week or so later.
You have to take your images first thing in the morning when it is cooler otherwise they get a bit flighty and do not stay still. After two days they are ready to release outside.“
