We have a bit of a tradition that members post on Facebook after a competition – we really love people sharing and celebrating their photos so please keep posting.
Sophia has chosen February’s Photo of the Month. Congratulations go to Abbi Blakey with her creative image “Reading an Aura”
I chose it because it is a little unusual and shows great creativity. By intentionally moving the camera during the exposure she has created more of an atmosphere in her photo. I can imagine that perhaps she is conveying that the reader is lost in her thoughts as she reads or perhaps the book itself is full of mystery. She has placed the subject on one side giving her plenty of negative space to look into (if she was to stop reading!). Well done Abbi
