Photo Task 2025/2026

Every year, we host a one-off Photo Task competition — and it’s your chance to shine with a set of fresh, imaginative images.

What You Need to Do
  • Submit 4 digital images in total.

  • Each image must explore a different subject — you can’t double up.

  • Subjects are drawn from a list of 8 categories, revealed by the Committee (usually at or before the AGM).

  • IMPORTANT: All images must have been taken after 24 April 2024. (So yes — newer is better!)

Detailed rules can be found here.

This Year's Photo Tasks

A total of four photos, each from a different category as listed below:

Blossom
Juxtaposition
Vegetables
Panning
Steam
Foul Weather
Nature Taking Back
Pub Life

Let your creativity roam — a rusty texture in close-up, the first golden rays hitting branches, sweeping curves, or an intense macro frame — just make sure each shot is unique.

Judging takes place on 24th March 2026.

This is a one-off DPI competition where the winner takes all on the night.
