The Photo Task competition is held annually and is a stand-alone competition.
Each entrant must submit 4 digital images.
Each image must be of a different subject, selected from the list of 8 subjects announced by the committee.
The committee will have made the list at or before the A.G.M. of the preceding year.
Pictures entered in the Photo Task must not pre-date the previous year’s A.G.M.

This Year's Photo Tasks
A total of four photos, each from a different category as listed below:

|Long Exposure||Country life|
|River||Food and drink|
Images must have been taken after 25th April 2023.
Judging takes place on 19th March 2024.
This is a one-off DPI competition where the winner takes all on the night.
Here is a video explaining how to enter this competition along with details of how to load your entries onto the PhotoEntry system.
Please note – this video does not include details of the meta data that needs to be added to your file – this is what you need to do:
- Open up the folder on your computer that contains the image file.
- PC users: Right-click on the image, and select Properties.
- Mac users: Control-click, and select “Get Info” (or press command + i on your keyboard).
- In the window that appears, you can add the Title to the title box and your name in the Author box
