Competitions

Like most clubs, we hold print and projected image competitions throughout the season, with the aim of encouraging members to produce new work. Competitions also help us learn from the comments and constructive criticism of external judges.

Members can enter work in either the Monochrome Print, Colour Print and Projected Digital Image competitions. We also run certain one off competitions like the annual Phototask Competition and the Peter Chastney Theme competition and we have our annual Exhibition competition to round the season off.

Marks are awarded to each competition entry to add a little spice to the occasion, although we try not to take the competitive aspects too seriously! There are some competition rules to keep everything in order (please click on the pdfs below to download these guidelines).
