Frequently Asked Questions
Does the club offer Zoom to members for all meetings?
Whilst we would encourage all members to attend in person we know that it is not always possible. For most evenings during the season (September – April) we broadcast most talks and competitions via Zoom. The members workshop evenings are normally practical hands-on events and therefore Zoom is not used for those evening unless otherwise stated.
Members can find the Zoom link and passcode in this document. The document is password protected with the password provided to all members at the start of the season and on request.
The summer programme (May – August) is mostly outdoor-based and Zoom is not used for those events.
When entering club competitions are there any restrictions on when entered images were taken?
The only club competition for which there is a restriction is the annual Phototask, where images must be taken after the AGM when the task categories were announced.
As part of our summer programme we run a ‘where am I now?’ event where images must be taken that night, but this falls outside of our regular competitions.
For all other club competitions, there is presently no restriction on when an image was taken.
