I hear everyone had a great time in London yesterday (including Grant!!), thanks again to Mark for organising.

This week there is no club on Tuesday because of the trip yesterday. However if you fancy doing something anyway you could try getting a sunset picture at Hatfield Forest – third time lucky?

Next week is Bill’s summer solstice dinner.

Brian.

Bill’s Summer Solstice Meal

The Club summer dinner will be at the Vine Great Bardfield on the 21st June 7.30 for 8 pm.  The menu is attached.  There are a range of vegetarian options and gluten free options.  Book now while there is still space. Please contact Bill – secretary@stortfordcamera.club to book your place

Website Update

The revised web site has been up and running for a few weeks now – if you haven’t had chance please have a look. One of the revised areas is the Gallery Area where we are showing many members images. If you would like your images adding please contact Mark Seton (digital@stortfordcamera.club) who can build a Gallery from your previous DPI competition entries. If you want any other images (prints for example) adding, please supply them to Mark in the normal competition format.

Hitchin Lavender

We will be visiting Hitchin Lavender Farm on Wednesday (please note – Wednesday) July 13th from 6.30pm. Cost will be £10 per person. Cost includes a guided talk about the Lavender fields, the chance to pick some lavender to take home and, most importantly, the chance to photograph the lavender at sunset with limited numbers of other people to get in the way 😉 We do need to get a minimum of 20 people to attend so please contact Mark Seton (digital@stortfordcamera.club) or visit the club Facebook page to book your place

Cambridge Visit

One for the diaries – our next Saturday out is on 23rd July when we will take in the sigfhts and sounds of Cambridge. More details will follow nearer the time.

Hope you all have a great week
